Please read my T&Cs before you start working with KfMarketingUK
T&Cs
The following Terms and Conditions of Service apply to all WEBSITE services provided by KfMarketingUK
All work is carried out by KfMarketingUK on the understanding that the client has agreed to the terms and conditions.
WEBSITE PROJECTS
ACCEPTING A PROJECT
I will send you a proposal for services, and provide you with a quotation for services. A copy of the quotation should be signed and dated by you (the client) to indicate you have read and accepted it. Please email the acceptance form back to KfMarketingUK. A contract for work will then be issued which should be signed and returned. Your acceptance of our quotation binds you (the client) to accept the T&Cs. No work on a project will commence until either a signed quotation, signed contract, or work order has been received.
ENGAGEMENT
You engage KfMarketingUK to deliver the work as per the project specs agreed via email or documents sent to you. KfMarketingUK is not an employee, agent, or partner of any client who accepts project work.
​Data Protection: You agree to comply with all applicable data protection and privacy legislation, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) and the UK Data Protection Act 2018, in carrying out their obligations under this Agreement.
CONCEPTS CONTENT AND IP
CONCEPTS: Ideas, text, creative models, strategic plans, design/artwork remain the intellectual property of KfMarketingUK until full payment for your project is received. Copyright is retained until all costs have been settled. Please refer to you project contract for specifics. Some specific images used in the build of your site may be copyright to KfMarketingUK. Any such images remain the property of KfMarketingUK and we grant you permission to use them while your site is live/you have a contract with us. Once that contract ceases permission is revoked and images need to be removed from the site or an annual fee will be implemented for use.
SUPPLIED CONTENT: Please ensure all media supplied is owned by yourself or you have checked any permission/restrictions to ensure that they are not subject to copyright from third parties. Supply of photography or images must be checked for copyright. We are not liable for content supplied to us by you. The Client remains responsible for permission for use of any third-party material.. We are not liable for content supplied to us by you. The client agrees to fully indemnify and hold KfMarketingUK free from harm in any and all claims resulting from the client in not having obtained all the required copyright, and/or any other necessary permissions.
​IP/ Copyright: You are purchasing a working website. Site design and creative outlays for the website remain the intellectual property of KfMarketing UK. These concepts are to be used solely for the client’s organization. They cannot be adapted nor given to third parties or other agencies to alter, nor given to people who are purchasing services/products from you. By signing your project form/ contract you agree to adhere to this and to not copy or present any of the ideas/concepts/designs as your own work.
HOSTING
Your website provided by KfMarketing UK is hosted by WIX and backed up daily on secure servers. Should there be any technical issues at Wix which are outside of our control we will seek to get your site up and running as quickly as possible. We are not liable for any downtime as a result and refunds or compensation for down time cannot be given. Should your site be compromised, a charge will be made for any time to restore the site that is needed. There is an annual charge for connecting to the hosting each year. This fee is set by Wix rather than KfMarketing UK and annual fees apply. We have no control over these fees but will aim to get you the best deal we can. If you choose to self-host at any stage, you will be liable for your own website security and files.

WEB DEVELOPMENT & CLIENT ACCESS
Development Phase Access Restrictions
During the website development phase, the Client does not have access to the website during the build process, including editing website content or text, accessing development environments, nor making changes to any website elements. Website development involves multiple complex layers and backend systems that are not yet configured for client access.
Upon completion of the website build
Frontend Access Only: Client access will be limited to frontend functionalities. Cliens will not have access to backend administrative systems, server configurations, database management, core website architecture, or security settings. Depending on project specifications agreed during the build process, the client may be granted access to specific content management areas, including blog posting, event calendar management, project gallery updates, or other content areas as specifically agreed upon in writing. At all times, KfMarketingUK retains exclusive access to all backend systems, administrative controls, technical maintenance functions, security and backup systems, and core website functionality.
FEES
Build fees will be set out in quotations provided to you. You agree to pay KfMarketingUK for the work in accordance with the T&Cs. Invoices will be provided for the amount of fees for work undertaken including any expenses incurred in process of carrying out the contract. Should the requirements or scope of any web build change mid-project, we eserve the right to renegotiate the fee to allow for work of greater scope or duration. Release of work done by KfMarketing on behalf of the client, may not take place before cleared funds have been received. A 10% late fee will be levied for late payment of invoices due immediately the invoice is overdue.
In addition to the build there are some other fees:

Once your site is created and is LIVE, any additional/new content such as new pages, new text, new images, uploads to specific pages etc. can be added by KfMarketing and will be invoiced at an hourly rate as per your contract
